Forskningsprogrammet Mistra Arctic Futures in a Global Context fokuserar på socio-ekonomiska, politiska och miljömässiga aspekter med global koppling för att uppmärksamma och stimulera arktisforskning med samhällsvetenskapliga förtecken. Under tre år kommer Mistra att investera 38 miljoner kronor i forskningsprogrammet innehållande de fem enskilda projekten.
Polarforskningssekretariatet kommer att vara värd för forskningsprogrammet och det koordineras av programchef Cecilia Dahlberg.
