Baltic Nest Institute is a research institution physically located in Sweden, Denmark and Finland, at the Stockholm Resilience Centre, Stockholm University, the National Environmental Research Institute (NERI), Aarhus University at Roskilde and the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE). The Baltic Nest Institute uses information from a range of institutions around the Baltic Sea, making the integrated, large scale modeling of the Nest model possible.
Baltic Nest Institute represents a strategic alliance between Stockholm University, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, National Environmental Research Institute (NERI), University of Aarhus, National Institute of Aquatic Resources at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU-Aqua), Danish Technical University and the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE). Why is Baltic Nest unique? The Baltic Nest Decision Support System has been developed using information kindly provided by a range of institutions in the drainage area.
