International conference on"The value of our marine environment"
Sweden is holding an international conference focusing on ways of integrating the value of marine ecosystem services into decision making, so that policies are designed to achieve sustainable management of these ecosystems.
The conference is being held under the auspices of the Swedish EU Presidency in autumn 2009, and organized by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency in collaboration with the Stockholm Resilience Centre, Baltic Nest Institute and the Beijer Institute of Ecological Economics.Venue: M/S Teaterskeppet (boat), Stockholm, Sweden
